LIONS CLUB ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES
It’s that time of year again in Weston! The 27th annual Weston Lions Club Antique & Collectibles Show is happening.
This event is being cosponsored by the Weston Chamber of Commerce and will be featuring the same great quality vendors as always with a few new highlights. There will be a “Conversations with Experts” program at area shops where different experts in the fields of silver, antique filigree jewelry, primitives, porcelain, pottery, coins, pocket watches, vintage clothing, and antique restoration will speak on their area of expertise. There will also be a drawing for a Weston Gift Basket for the lucky customer who guesses most accurately the number of antique buttons in an old
Mason jar.
As a backdrop to this great event, the Antique Corvair Car Club will be in town onSaturday the 25th to share their knowledge and show off their beautifully restored cars.
So come to Weston and spend the day attending the show and perusing the over
20 specialty shops and more than a dozen antique shops in the area. We have great restaurants, wineries and a brewery to sate your appetite. Come enjoy a 27 year tradition at the Weston Lions Club Antique & Collectible Show where you are sure to find a treasure while enjoying walking through a of piece of Weston’s rich history, in a one hundred year old tobacco warehouse. It truly is a unique shopping experience.
The Weston Lions Club Antique & Collectible Show will host over 50 vendors. All proceeds will go to Lions Club charities and Chamber of Commerce projects. Admission to the show is free.

WESTON 10 MILE TRAIL ANTIQUE & GARDEN SHOW
The Weston 10 Mile Trail - something new, something different, something extra.
The Weston 10 Mile Trail Antique & Garden Show is fast approaching and is shaping up to be an exciting event. It is being held this August 7 & 8, 2009. The Weston 10 Mile Trail is a unique concept in antique shows where the show spans a 10 mile area in and around Historic Weston, Missouri. Enjoy the scenic drive to the four premier locations hosting dealers this year: Historic Downtown Weston at Beverlin’s Statuary, Red Barn Farms, Locust Grove Antiques & Interiors and Riverwood Winery.
Admission is free to each of the locations and all will have top quality dealers of antiques, collectibles and garden items. For a new twist on the show this year each of the locations will have food and drink available during the evenings (and some for the day as well) provided by local eating establishments. There will also be entertainment on Friday evening at all four venues. They are adding some artists to the mix this year as well. Area artists will showcase and sell their creations at the Riverwood Winery location.
Come Saturday morning at 9 o'clock to meet the Junk Mafia as they do their “junk in my trunk” radio show live broadcast in downtown Weston. they are heard on 1140 am radio Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Prizes given away every few minutes. Don’t miss out.
So come for the shopping and stay for the entertainment. Make an evening of it and stay over at one of the seven outstanding B&B’s or at the newly renovated St. George Hotel on Main St.

The ninth annual Weston Irish Festival opens it's gates Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 10, 11 & 12 at O'Malley's Pub & Courtyard. Great Irish music, piping, dancing, and storytelling, along with traditional Irish food and drinks are what you’ll find at the three-day event.
The festival features musicians from across the U.S., Canada and Ireland. Seventeen local, regional, and national touring acts will perform on the open-air courtyard stage as well as the two indoor pub stages. A fourth stage, adjacent to the courtyard stage, will showcase the pipers and dancers.
The aroma of authentic Irish dishes - corned beef, Irish stew, bangers, and coddle will fill the air along with traditional festival favorites – pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, loaded baked potatoes, apple fritters and more. A full complement of draught ale, stout and lager will be available along with other libations.
