Weston's 5th Annual Search for Bigfoot

Get your gear ready! The legendary creature returns to the streets of historic Weston for a day of adventure, scavenger hunts, and community fun.

Event Details

The Bigfoot Search is a family friendly scavenger hunt through the local shops and historic sites of Weston.

Scavenger Hunt: Purchase a "Search License/Passport" (typically around $5 for adults, kids under 12 are free) at the Chamber of Commerce or at westonmo.com.
The Search: Follow clues and play skill based games to complete your Bigfoot Search passport card. Each effort will earn a stamp your passport. Turn passports in at 1pm in the Holladay Park downtown at the gazebo.
Bigfoot Specials: Many downtown businesses offer "Bigfoot-themed" treats, drinks, and merchandise throughout the day.
Contests & Prizes (1:00 PM):
- Passport Drawing: Submit your completed passport by 1:00 PM to be entered into a drawing for prizes, including the coveted Bigfoot statues.
- Bigfoot Calling Contest: Test your vocal range and see who can summon the beast most convincingly.
- Costume Contest: Dress up as your favorite cryptid for a chance to win.

Arrive Early: While you can start the hunt anytime before 1:00 PM, getting an early start ensures you have plenty of time to visit all the shops and enjoy the town. Official start is 10am. Licenses can be picked up beginning at 8am at the Chamber. “Day Of” licenses can be purchased at Beverlin’s Statuary at 419 Main St beginning at 8am.
Check the Weather: The event is "Rain or Shine," so dress for the Missouri spring weather.
